The price of ignorance

Whether you realize it or not, your thoughts have power: each thought has an effect and these effects have consequences.
Our current education system focuses on filling our mind with content and leaves us totally uneducated about our most fundamental thought capacities.

This is education we must acquire by ourselves.
What if we don’t?
1. Failing to learn about and develop our mental resources prevents us to live life to its fullest. Living in ignorance is sitting on a chest full of gold and begging for money, being an eagle and living in a henhouse, possessing a bank account with one billion dollars and not being aware of it.

2. Harnessing the power of fire power has allowed us to cook, heat our homes, produce electricity, … Left run wild, it destroys forests, buildings, severely damage and kills people.
Likewise, thoughts can be of service or be harmful; they can be constructive or destructive.
Would you prefer to enjoy a freshly cooked meal with friends and family in the warmth of your place or suffer from severe burnings from the flaming of your home? Do you even know you have the choice?
Today, too many of us let the fire destroy rather than serve, because they don’t know they have the capacity to choose what they want.
Why you need to learn it
Your thoughts are creative. Not when you are educated about it and learn to use them purposefully, but always.
The ignorance of the effect and possible use of our thoughts not only deprive us from our possibilities; it can also be very dangerous. This is why it is paramount that we learn about and develop our mental capacities to outgrow the phase of simply thinking haphazardly.
Investing time and energy learning it will not only teach you how to develop the capacity to get what you want, but it will also teach you how to quickly stop any damage thought before it leads to disaster.
You now understand why it’s the most important education one can receive.
The books you were never supposed to read
Why do you have to learn such an important education from a website? Why wasn’t this explained to you at school?
I mean, these books are not new…
Indeed, these books are not new, and the principles aren’t either. What’s new if the fact that they are now available to all.
Why this ignorance then?
Haanel himself, in The New Psychology confesses the following:
“The operation of this law has been known to a few in all ages, but nothing was more improbable than the unauthorized revelation of this information by any student of the great esoteric schools of philosophy. This was true because those in authority were afraid that an unprepared public mind might not be ready to make the proper use of the extraordinary power which the application of these principles disclosed. ” - The Psychology of Business Success
Why has it not been broadly distributed after Haanel published his courses?
Some claim businessmen, realizing everyone could access this power, put pressure on Mr Haanel to have his books removed.
Others say the Catholic Church had them suppressed.
I have read that none of Haanel’s books are listed in the Index Librorum Prohibitorum (1551-1940s) - in which the list of publications prohibited by the Roman Catholic Church can be found.
Much of these teachings can be traced back to the Hermetic tradition (which, according to Manly P Hall, inspired secret societies like Freemasonry the Rosicrucians) and ancient knowledge taught by mystery schools of the Egyptians and the Greeks. This knowledge - has up until now - been kept in utmost secrecy, and Initiates who revealed any of this knowledge were subject to the penalty of death.
Here are some reasons why the teachings of Mr Haanel may have been removed from public accessibility.
While the origin and the real reason of the suppression is not verifiable, the simple fact that masses have been deprived of these books, or at least that this has never been promoted, is a good sign this education was not meant to be made available to people like you and me.
Today, his knowledge is rediscovered and uncovered and nothing prevents you to educate yourself and reap all the benefits you deserve.
